OVERWOOD DOLLAR
Investor Profile
OVERWOOD DOLLAR was designed for investors who are looking to hedge the significant currency risk intrinsic to the Nigerian Naira.
During the first quarter of 2020, the Nigerian Naira was devaluated by 20%. It means everybody with asset, cash, or investment in Naira became 20% poorer as result of that devaluation.
OVERWOOD DOLLAR helps investors retain the value of their funds with a US Dollar denominated instrument.
Investors can choose to subscribe with Naira or US Dollar but the funds will always be held in US Dollars. At maturity, you can choose to withdraw in US Dollars or Nigerian Naira at the exchange rate on your withdrawal date.
